Description
The front sprocket is constructed from high carbon steel with drilled lightening holes for reduced rotating mass and induction hardened teeth for wear resistance. It also features Vortex's special Nichel plating for corrosion resistance. The rear sprocket is made from carbon steel with a black satin electro-plated finish for corrosion resistance and precision manufacturing with induction hardened teeth for maximum wear resistance. Each rear sprocket is cupped to reduce weight.
The kit also includes a Vortex RX3 gold chain with X-ring seals to reduce friction and improved tensile strength, along with a rivet-type connecting link. The chain has a strength rating of 9400.
