Description

The Vortex Racing CK6448 is a 520 chain and sprocket kit designed for the Yamaha MT09/FZ09 2018 models. This kit features a 15-tooth steel front sprocket with lightening holes and a 45-tooth aluminum F5 rear sprocket with a PTFE Black Hardcoat for durability and reduced weight. The kit also includes a 110-link black RX3 chain with X-ring seals and a tensile strength of 9400.

The front sprocket is made of high carbon steel with nickel plating for corrosion resistance and induction hardening for wear reduction. The rear sprocket utilizes 7075 T6 aluminum for a lightweight, high-performance alternative to steel, improving acceleration by reducing rotating mass. The RX3 chain is designed with drilled links to further reduce weight and X-ring seals to minimize friction.
