Description

The Vortex Racing CKG5261 is a chain and sprocket kit designed for the 2001-2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000. It features a 17-tooth steel front sprocket and a 42-tooth aluminum rear sprocket, providing a stock gearing ratio of 2.47.

The front sprocket is made from high-carbon steel with induction hardening to reduce wear and nickel plating for corrosion resistance. The rear sprocket is constructed from 7075 T6 aluminum, featuring a PTFE Black Hardcoat for added lubricity, durability, and reduced mass. The kit includes a gold Vortex SX3 chain with X-ring seals for reduced friction and drilled links to minimize rotating mass.
