Description

The Vortex Racing 454KV4-43 is a chain and sprocket kit designed for the Kawasaki Ninja 400. This kit features a 520 chain pitch that matches the stock size. It includes a 14-tooth front sprocket, which is stock for the Ninja 400, and a 44-tooth rear sprocket, offering a three-tooth increase over the stock 41-tooth rear sprocket.

This gearing change results in shorter gearing compared to the factory setup, providing quicker acceleration from a stop, higher RPM at highway speeds, and a reduced top-end speed. The kit utilizes a steel construction for durability. The chain is equipped with X-ring seals for reduced heat and friction, and includes a rivet-type master link.
