Vortex Rammer Cold Air Intake System

The Breathless Performance Vortex Rammer Cold Air Intake System for C5 Corvettes is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air box and significantly improve airflow. It draws cool, pressurized air from the radiator cavity via a modified shroud and a specially designed scoop, forcing it into a sealed rammer box. This process directly injects colder air into the engine's intake, which can lower manifold air temperatures by nearly 20 degrees Fahrenheit, leading to increased power. According to dyno results, this intake system has shown gains of up to 22 horsepower and 21 ft-lbs of torque. The benefits are further amplified at speeds over 35 MPH due to the pressurized air created at higher velocities. Quarter-mile tests have indicated improvements of 5 MPH and 0.35 seconds, especially when the scoop is attached. This specific model, Item 100-218(B), is designed for 1997-2000 C5 Corvettes and features a black air box. The air bridges, which are sold separately, are available in carbon fiber only.
