The Corvette Central Vortex Rammer Cold Air System is an aftermarket induction system designed to replace the restrictive stock air box in C4 Corvettes. It forces pressurized air from the radiator cavity through a scoop into a sealed box, where a filter injects cold air into the intake. This system fits 1985-1989 Corvettes.

For a significant power boost on your C4 Corvette, the Corvette Central Vortex Rammer Cold Air System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air box. This system draws pressurized air from the radiator cavity, directing it through a specialized scoop into the sealed Rammer box. Inside, a high-performance air filter ensures a mass of cold air is injected directly into the engine's intake, enhancing performance. This induction system is specifically designed for 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, and 1989 C4 Corvette models. Installation of the Vortex Rammer system requires modification, as the stock radiator shroud will need to be cut to accommodate the new components. The installation difficulty is rated a 3 out of 5, suggesting that some mechanical experience is beneficial but not strictly necessary for those with confidence. This product is proudly made in the USA. Please note that this item is not CARB exempt and is not legal for purchase or use in California.
