VQ Beehive Valve Springs

The Jim Wolf Technology A3503-BHIVE VQ Beehive Valve Springs are engineered to support aggressive camshaft profiles, specifically JWT competition camshafts requiring .600"+ lift. These springs are designed with reliability and performance in mind, utilizing super clean wire material and enhanced heat treatment processes including nano-peening and polishing. The beehive design features varied coil diameters to effectively dampen harmonic resonance, which can prevent valve surge and float at high RPMs, a critical factor for engines pushed to their limits. With an installed height of 38.66mm, these springs are intended to be used with the original bottom spring shims. A key consideration for earlier VQ engines (pre-2013) is the retainer compatibility. These springs utilize the lighter 2013+ VQ retainer with a 12.3mm inner diameter. If installing in an earlier VQ engine that uses the older retainer with a 17.6mm inner diameter, the Jim Wolf Technology retainer (part number ARETN-BHIVE) must also be purchased separately. The A3503-BHIVE valve springs are compatible with a range of Nissan VQ and VK engines, including VQ30DE, VQ35DE, VQ35DE REV-UP, VK56, VQ35HR, VQ37, VQ40, and VQ37VHR (exhaust only). They are listed as fitting vehicles such as the 350Z, Pathfinder, Titan, G35, G37, 370Z, Maxima (2002+), Murano, Armada, FX35, and FX45.
