The AMS Motorsports SEKUSHI Resonated Test Pipes are engineered to enhance the exhaust note and performance of VQ35HR and VQ37VHR engines found in RWD Nissan 350Z, 370Z, and Infiniti G35, G37, Q50, and Q60 models. These test pipes are crafted from premium 304 stainless steel, offering superior durability compared to cheaper alternatives, and feature "real" stainless steel flanges, not chrome-coated steel. The construction utilizes Laser TIG welding for exceptional strength and appearance, with the support brackets also made from 304 stainless steel and TIG welded. These resonated test pipes are designed to produce a deep, quiet, and non-raspy tone, while aiming to extract maximum power, with claims of upwards of a 15+ hp and torque increase over standard configurations. The design incorporates sound-perfecting harmonics for a refined exhaust note. For those seeking maximum weight reduction, AMS Motorsports also offers a full titanium version of these test pipes, weighing only 5.95 lbs per pair, while the stainless steel version weighs 11.4 lbs per pair, notably lighter than competitors. Installation includes the necessary gaskets and hardware. It is important to note that these test pipes will not fit AWD applications, including the 2014 Q50 Premium AWD and the 2012 G37x Sedan AWD.
