VR-SC1 Ram Air Induction Kit

The Vararam VR-SC1 Snake Charmer Ram Air Induction Kit is the result of extensive research and development, building upon Vararam's previous B2 race units. This system is engineered not just for peak horsepower, but specifically to improve the time to peak manifold pressure. This focus translates to enhanced torque, better throttle response during shift recovery, and overall improved driveability for your C6 Corvette. The kit utilizes a unique, pleated air filter designed in-house and manufactured by a Donaldson subcontractor. This filter features deeper pleats and increased pleat density for superior flow capacity. Fluid dynamic software was used to optimize the airflow path into the mass airflow meter, ensuring balanced airflow across the entire circumference of the entrance, outperforming the factory tube. Construction of the VR-SC1 involves a roto-molded upper section for a seamless internal aero package and a vacuum-formed lower scoop. This vacuum-formed lower scoop allows for application-specific tuning of the aero package, providing flexibility for both street and racing use. Vararam claims significant performance gains, estimating 10-15hp on a dyno without programming. Once the vehicle is in motion, the VR system is said to yield an additional 17hp by 60 mph and 19-20hp by 90-100 mph. This equates to approximately 39-42 flywheel horsepower gains through a mile, along with measurable improvements in quarter-mile times and trap speeds.
