The winch comes equipped with a durable steel rope and a cast iron hawse fairlead. Under the hood, the VR10 is powered by a 12V DC Series Wound™ motor and a 3-stage planetary geartrain with a 261.1:1 gear ratio for efficient power delivery. It utilizes a sliding ring gear for clutch engagement and an automatic direct drive cone brake. The recommended battery for optimal performance during winching is a 650 CCA, with 2-gauge, 72-inch battery leads included.
