VR30DDTT 2.50" Stainless Steel Lower Downpipes

The Fast Intentions lower downpipes are engineered to significantly enhance the performance of the Infiniti Q50, Q60, and Nissan Z models equipped with the 3.0L VR30DDTT twin-turbo V6 engine. These downpipes are designed as a direct OEM replacement, eliminating the need for cutting or welding and retaining all factory mounting brackets in their original locations. By increasing the tubing diameter to 2.50" and replacing the OEM lower catalytic converters, these downpipes effectively increase low-end torque and maximize power throughout the entire RPM band. Constructed from durable T-304 stainless steel tubing, these lower downpipes feature mandrel bends to maintain optimal exhaust flow and minimize interior noise resonance. The flanges are made from 3/8" thick mild steel and are bright nickel plated to prevent corrosion. Each flange connection point is precision Tig welded, and the inside is port-n-polished to ensure a smooth exhaust gas path, reducing turbulence. Standard, factory-location threaded O2 sensor bungs allow for a plug-and-play installation of your rear OEM sensors. When installed in conjunction with a Fast Intentions cat-back exhaust system, these lower downpipes have been dyno tested to produce significant power gains. On a 2016 Q50 400HP Red Sport model, gains of 36 horsepower at 5,100 rpm and 46 ft-lb of torque at 3,800 rpm were recorded. On a 2017 Q60 300HP Base model, the gains were even higher, with 43 horsepower at 6,250 rpm and 25 ft-lb of torque at 4,350 rpm. These downpipes also refine the factory exhaust note by increasing its depth and volume, while reducing Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) by freeing up back pressure. The 9 lb. weight is 7 lbs. lighter than the factory lower catalytic converters. This product is application-specific for 2023+ Nissan Z 3.0L VR30, 2016+ Infiniti Q50 Sedan 3.0L VR30, and 2017+ Infiniti Q60 Coupe 3.0L VR30 models, compatible with both 2WD and AWD configurations. It is explicitly not compatible with 2014-2015 Infiniti Q50 or Q60 models. Gaskets, hardware, and installation instructions are included.
