VR38DETT 3.8L V6 Cam Followers Set

The Supertech Cam Followers / Buckets Set is engineered for Nissan GTR VR38DETT 24v 3.8L V6 engines, designed for the most demanding racing conditions. Utilizing advanced CATIA CAD software and Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Supertech maximizes strength and minimizes weight by precisely calculating wall thickness and employing special shapes. This ensures superior performance and durability. Constructed from aerospace-certified Chrome-Molybdenum-Vanadium alloy sourced from Austria, these cam followers are significantly stronger than OEM materials. They are completely CNC machined from heat-treated billet, resulting in improved rigidity and a notable reduction in weight. The surfaces are fully Nitrided and polished to achieve a hardness of approximately 60Rc, which significantly reduces wear, especially under high cam lifts and RPMs. Furthermore, the surface finish is meticulously ground to a much lower surface roughness. This enhances durability by reducing friction between the cams and the cylinder head bore. These Supertech buckets offer an overall improvement in durability and performance, aiming to outperform conventional lifters, comparable to Formula 1 components.
