This pump replaces the factory plastic housing with a billet aluminum adapter and mounts directly into the fuel tank, offering a reliable solution for upgraded VR6 engines.

The BAR-TEK® VR6 upgrade intank pump is engineered to provide superior fuel delivery for high-performance applications, supporting up to 700 hp. This kit features a special performance fuel pump, similar to a Bosch 044, housed within a billet aluminum adapter that replaces the original plastic component. It mounts directly into the fuel tank, offering a more reliable and efficient solution than externally mounted pumps, with reduced noise and fewer leak points. The included kit comprises the billet adapter, the special performance fuel pump, a 12mm banjo bolt and hose connection, and a high-flow check valve. It is noted as being the largest and most reliable fuel pump designed to fit within a Golf 3 or Corrado fuel tank. Installation requires a 20A power cable and relay; OEM cables should not be used. Please note that this pump is not suitable for vehicles built between 1992 and 1994 that feature the old speedometer and tank sensor at the pump sump. If the pump sits too high, the spacer between the pump and the non-return valve may need to be removed.
