This hood is 10-20% lighter than stock due to the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) and has a smooth, one-piece underside shell for structural integrity. Hood pins are required for installation.

The VIS Racing VS 2 Style Hood is an aftermarket body panel meticulously crafted from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber, designed to enhance the aesthetics and performance of your Scion FR-S (2013-2020). Utilizing a two-part construction, the top layer of carbon fiber is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for a durable, high-gloss appearance. The innovative Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) is employed, resulting in parts that are 10-20% lighter than conventional manufacturing, while also improving overall durability. Its one-piece, smooth underside shell provides added structural integrity. For optimal safety and performance, hood pins are a required component for installation. It is crucial to avoid reusing stock hood struts, shocks, dampers, or springs, as these can potentially lead to cracking of the hood. This product is intended for off-road use unless local regulations specify otherwise.
