The MODE Auto Concepts GFB VTA Atmosphere Diverter Valve is engineered for Ford F-150 EcoBoost models from 2013-2020, including the 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost engines and the Raptor 3.5L EcoBoost from 2017-2020. This Australian-made performance upgrade aims to deliver both enhanced sound and improved functionality over the stock diverter valve. At its core, the VTA valve replaces the plastic internal mechanism of the factory diverter valve with CNC machined billet components for enhanced durability and reliability. It utilizes GFB's patented pilot operation, which repurposes the factory solenoid to control the pressure behind the piston. This design allows for faster response times, increased actuation force, and progressive opening and closing based on boost pressure. This leads to smoother boost transitions, reduced lag, and improved throttle response. The VTA also features TMS (Turbo Management System) technology for faster boost recovery and better overall drivability. This diverter valve is designed as a direct bolt-on kit, ensuring an easy installation process that retains the factory ECU control and solenoid. The kit includes a blanking plug to secure the recirculating port. Key features include: TMS Technology for faster boost recovery, improved boost holding ability, atmosphere venting for a blow-off sound, retained ECU control, and a simple, direct bolt-on installation. The VTA is manufactured in Australia to ISO 9001 standards.
