This valve provides the signature blow-off sound upon throttle lift-off while also enhancing throttle response and turbo management. At its core, the T9401 utilizes a patented pilot-operated design where the piston is not directly connected to the solenoid. This progressive operation allows the valve to vent only the necessary amount of air to prevent compressor surge, and then begin closing to preserve boost in the intercooler for quicker spool-up.
