While the engine's ECU dictates the amount of adjustment, the gear itself has a mechanical limit, with this specific actuator offering a maximum of 50 degrees of movement. This 50-degree VTC actuator (reference number 14310-RBC-003) is also recognized as an upgrade for Accord CL9/CM2 models, which are typically limited to 25 degrees of VTC movement. It serves as a direct replacement part, suitable for worn teeth on K20A/K20Z Type-R engines and is specified for various K24 engine variants including K24A1, K24A2, K24A8, and K24Z1.
