VTT Stage 1 Hybrid Turbocharger Upgrade

The Vargas Turbocharger Technologies VTT Stage 1 turbocharger upgrade is a hybrid system built for enhancing the performance of N63/N63TU and S63/S63TU engines. This upgrade starts with a complete rebuild of the factory turbochargers, utilizing OEM or better internals to address known weaknesses. The stock compressor housings are then precisely machined to accept custom-sized VTT billet compressor wheels, which are key to supporting up to 800WHP when paired with suitable fuel delivery and tuning. Each turbocharger assembly, including the wheels and CHRA, undergoes a triple balancing process before being meticulously assembled into the prepared housings. This ensures optimal performance and durability. Vargas Turbo Technologies, established in 1979, specializes in rebuilt and re-engineered turbo solutions, aiming to provide significant performance gains while maintaining compatibility with stock turbo plumbing and intake hoses. Custom software tuning is essential to achieve the correct fuel and timing curves for optimal performance. It is important to note that this product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board regulations. A core charge also applies, which will be refunded upon the return of rebuildable original turbos. Vargas recommends using engine oils with a high ZDDP content for improved protection and cooling of turbo bearings. Examples include Red Line Race, Red Line Euro, Motul 300V Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, and Valvoline VR-1 oil, or most Diesel-spec oils.
