VW 1500 24V 3/8" HT OR PC CHAIN

The VW1500 Hydraulic Series of anchor winches are designed for traditional rope and chain combination anchor rodes, requiring manual transfer of the rode from the rope warping drum to the chainwheel. It operates two anchors from one winch and offers functional rope hauling from any direction using an independent MAX-grip™ snag-free warping drum with clutch disengagement of the chain wheel. It permits the use of traditional shackle and thimble rope and chain connection.

This windlass allows alternative mounting horizontally on a fore and aft bulkhead inside the chain locker for below deck installation. It features a high-quality finish on above deck components, made from marine-grade 316 stainless steel and chromed bronze. The cone type brake/clutch mechanism enables manual Free Fall in anchoring, and it includes a chain wheel locking pawl.

Designed for simplified through-deck installation with a modular design, it features a marine-grade anodised aluminium gearbox and spacer. It is powered by a heavy-duty, dual-direction motor and is easily disassembled for servicing. The package includes the windlass, an On/Off breaker panel, a black footswitch, and a handle.
