VWC 2500 ACW HYD 3/8" HT OR PC CH

The VWC Series is designed for automatic vertical handling of chain-only anchoring rodes and offers an independent capstan for retrieving secondary rope/chain rodes or assisting with docking. It features fully automatic single or dual direction chainwheel operation and durable, marine-grade 316 Stainless Steel and chromed bronze components above deck. An integral chain pipe and stripper ensure jam-free chain feed. It includes port and starboard chain pipes for twin installations and a cone-type brake/clutch for manual "free fall" anchoring. Clutch disengagement allows independent rope hauling using the Max-grip™ snag-free warping drum. Installation is simple through-deck with a modular design and stainless steel bolts. The windlass has an anodized aluminum gearbox, spacer tube, and a heavy-duty, dual-direction marine motor.
