VWC 2500 HYD 3/8" 3B CHAIN

The Maxwell VWC 2500 series is a marine windlass designed for automatic vertical handling of chain-only anchoring rodes. It features an independent capstan for retrieving a secondary rope and chain rode or for assisting with docking. Above-deck components are made from marine-grade 316 Stainless Steel and chromed bronze. It includes an integral chain pipe and stripper for jam-free operation and automatic chain feeding. Port and starboard chain pipes are available for twin installations. A cone-type brake/clutch mechanism allows for manual "free fall" anchoring with smooth and precise engagement. Clutch disengagement enables independent rope hauling using the Max-grip™ snag-free warping drum. Installation is simplified by its modular design and precise alignment of the gearbox to the topworks using marine-grade Stainless Steel bolts. The gearbox and spacer tube are anodized aluminum, powered by a heavy-duty, dual-direction marine motor. The VWC2500HYD054 is the hydraulic version.
