The Maxwell VWC150024V111 is a VWC 1500 Vertical Windlass Kit designed for automatic handling of chain-only anchor rodes. It features an independent capstan for secondary rope/chain retrieval or docking, and a traditional shackle and thimble rope and chain connection. The above-deck components are constructed from marine-grade stainless steel (AISI 316) and chromed bronze for durability in harsh marine environments. It includes a cone-type brake/clutch for manual 'Free Fall' anchoring with smooth, progressive engagement.
