VWCLP 1500 24V 1/4" 3B CHAIN

This Maxwell VWCLP 1500 Series Windlass is a fully automatic vertical windlass designed for chain-only anchor rodes. It features an independent capstan for secondary rope/chain retrieval or docking assistance. Components are made from marine-grade 316 stainless steel and chromed bronze. It has an integral chain pipe and stripper for jam-free operation and automatic chain feed. The cone-type brake/clutch allows for manual free-fall anchoring and smooth, progressive engagement. Clutch disengagement of the chainwheel enables independent rope hauling using the Max-grip™ snag-free warping drum. It offers simple through-deck installation due to its modular design, and includes an anodized aluminum gearbox and spacer tube. Powered by a heavy-duty, dual-direction marine motor. Low Profile configurations (without a warping drum) are also available.
