The Racingline VWR Cold-Air Intake System is engineered to optimize airflow for 2.0 TFSI EA113 (K03) engines, specifically benefiting A5-platform cars. This performance package aims to deliver enhanced power and turbo response by facilitating the efficient delivery of cold, dense air from outside the engine bay to the fuel metering unit. The intake features a giant, high-flow filter, available in either Trifoam® or Pleated Cotton construction, both handmade in the UK to ensure minimal restriction and effective filtration. The filter is housed within an enclosed gloss Midnight Black anodised aluminium spinning. The intake also incorporates a silicon hose with a formed internal lip for smooth airflow transition, secured by a sophisticated hose clamp providing continuous pressure. Confirmed applications for the VWR12G5GT include the VW Golf 5 GTI (2005-2008), VW Jetta V GLI (2005-2011), Audi A3 2.0 TSI (2003-2012), SEAT Leon II FR 2.0 (2006-2012), and Skoda Octavia vRS II (2004-2013). Users have a choice between the Trifoam® filter for maximum airflow and power, or the Pleated Cotton filter for a robust 'fit and forget' solution.
