While versatile enough for both turbo and non-turbo engines, IPD specifically recommends this VX camshaft for non-turbo applications, suggesting their Turbo Performance camshaft for turbocharged variants. For optimal results, the VX camshaft is recommended for Bosch LH-Jetronic or Regina fuel-injected systems. It can also be fitted to K-Jetronic fuel-injected 240 models, though users should be aware of potential rough idling and its impact on emissions.
