Upon receipt, the turbochargers are disassembled, inspected, and then machined to accommodate a new 5-axis CNC-machined impeller wheel. Externally, the turbochargers remain unchanged, preserving their original look. The units are then reassembled with new seals and dynamically balanced for optimal operation and longevity, ensuring an OEM service life. Installation is straightforward, as all original oil and coolant lines are compatible and bolt directly on. For those who wish to avoid downtime, a core exchange option is available where upgraded turbochargers are shipped first, contingent on the return and inspection of your factory units. This upgrade unlocks the true potential of the 3.0L Twin Turbo engine, delivering significant horsepower and torque gains, particularly in the upper RPM range. For maximum performance, a Weistec W.3 Turbo Specific ECU Upgrade is recommended.
