The Weistec W.3 Turbo Upgrade is a meticulously engineered solution for the Mercedes-Benz M177 engine, designed to unlock its full performance potential. This upgrade involves sending your factory turbochargers to Weistec, where they are disassembled, inspected, and machined to accommodate a new 5-axis CNC-machined impeller wheel. The external appearance remains stock, preserving the original look of your engine bay. This upgrade is capable of substantial power gains, with the potential for up to +351 HP and +241 TQ, depending on fuel and supporting modifications. The turbos are then reassembled with new seals and high RPM balanced for smooth operation and longevity, ensuring an OEM service life. All original oil and coolant lines bolt right up, simplifying the installation process. To fully realize the benefits of the W.3 Turbo Upgrade, Weistec recommends a suite of supporting modifications. These include a Weistec W.3 ECU calibration, TCU tune, CPC upgrade (if applicable), Downpipes, upgraded spark plugs, and potentially a Water Methanol Injection System, along with High Flow Air Filters or Carbon Fiber Airboxes.
