W-Body 12.7" Four Piston Brake Kit

The ZZP W-Body 12.7" Four Piston Brake Kit is engineered to dramatically improve the stopping performance of your W-Body platform car. This kit leverages readily available 12.7" GXP rotors as its foundation, ensuring ease of replacement and service. A custom ZZP caliper shim is included to ensure precise centering of the four-piston ZZP calipers, promoting even pad wear and maximizing braking efficiency. This upgrade offers a significant leap in performance compared to the original single and two-piston floating caliper brake kits. Drivers will experience a more robust and firm pedal feel, a noticeable reduction in stopping distances, and greater resistance to fade. This is achieved through the combination of a larger rotor surface and an increased pad contact area. The kit includes two four-piston ZZP calipers, a ZZP caliper shim, ceramic brake pads, 12.7" rotors (available in drilled or drilled/slotted configurations), and caliper pins and clips. Optional Goodridge longer stainless brake lines can be purchased with the kit for enhanced performance and durability. Installation requires reusing stock caliper bracket bolts, and due to variations in knuckles across the W-Body line, the included caliper spacer/shim may not always be necessary. Fitment extends to all W-body 3800 cars, W-Body LS4 cars, and H-body cars. The kit requires 18" wheels and up, though it may fit some 17" wheels. It's important to note that precise wheel fitment can vary based on wheel size, offset, style, and spoke design, potentially necessitating the use of extended wheel studs and/or a wheel spacer.
