Description

The ADD W1 V3.3 Baffled Oil Catch Can Kit is specifically engineered for 2007-2016 Mini Cooper models, offering a direct bolt-on solution to capture oil particles and moisture from the PCV/CCV system. This advanced design utilizes a "TRIPLE Twister" chamber filter system, which is more efficient than single oil catch cans and operates continuously whether the vehicle is idling or under wide-open throttle. Constructed from lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminum, this catch can prevents oil buildup in critical components like the intake manifold, intercooler, and throttle body, thereby keeping the engine cleaner and potentially improving performance by ensuring cleaner inlet air. The system can be configured as a closed-loop or open-loop system and includes PRO check valves to automatically select the best possible suction source. Installation is simplified with an application-specific mounting bracket and all required hardware included. Key features include an easy-drain plug with an optional remote quick drain valve, customizable color insert rings, and availability in a carbon fiber finish to reduce weight and enhance the engine bay appearance. The internal baffle and TRIPLE Twister chamber filter system are fully serviceable. ADD W1 backs this product with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
