The Whipple W100AX 1.6L direct drive twin-screw supercharger is engineered for custom supercharger builds and as a replacement for existing Whipple compressor assemblies. Leveraging Whipple's long-standing expertise in twin-screw technology since 1987, this unit is designed, manufactured, and assembled in Fresno, California, USA. Its positive displacement design ensures instant boost response and broad power delivery, making it suitable for both low-boost and high-boost applications. This supercharger is noted for its quiet operation, enhanced efficiency, and increased durability. It also features a user-friendly oil sight glass for easy level checks and offers extended 100,000-mile oil change intervals. The W100AX is available in a Black (PN WSC-100AXB-DD) or Polished finish. It operates up to a max continuous RPM of 18,000 and a max peak RPM of 20,000, with a maximum airflow of 1,120 CFM and a boost capability of up to 30 PSI. It boasts impressive performance metrics with 99% peak volumetric efficiency and 81% peak adiabatic efficiency.
