The Whipple W140AX/R is a 2.3-liter intercooled supercharger kit, also known as a "Hot Rod" kit, featuring a 6-rib factory truck loop and available in black. Since 1987, Whipple Superchargers has been a leader in twin-screw supercharging technology, pioneering positive displacement systems for fuel-injected, emissions-legal GM applications. This intercooled twin-screw system is engineered for LS-based engines (LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, and others), providing significant power for various applications including hot rods and sand rails. The system incorporates Whipple's massive oversized air-to-water intercooler for unmatched cooling capacity and a unique rear-feed W140ax supercharger, achieving 99% volumetric efficiency and high power potential. This kit includes the supercharger, intercooler, and intake manifold system, but does not include the heat exchanger, piping, or fuel system. This product is strictly for closed-course competition use only and is not legal for highway or street use. Its sale, use, or installation may be illegal nationwide under the Federal Clean Air Act. A Vehicle Compliance Waiver must be signed prior to purchase. Compatibility can vary based on specific LS engine configurations and belt offset requirements, such as the "Gen 5 Camaro (C/Z Body)" option for belt offset and cylinder head types like "Cathedral Port," "L92/LS3," or "LS7."
