The Whipple W175FF 2.9L Supercharger Complete Kit is engineered to transform the 2014-2017 Chevrolet SS 6.2L LS3 into a potent street machine, delivering an aggressive increase in power and torque while maintaining street-legal compliance. This comprehensive system is designed as a direct bolt-on, requiring no internal engine modifications. This design minimizes inlet restriction for optimal airflow, translating to more power per pound of boost. The system includes a massive air-to-water intercooler and an oversized heat exchanger to maintain consistent, lower intake air temperatures, ensuring repeatable performance under demanding conditions. Supporting the increased airflow and power, the kit includes high-flow fuel injectors and an aluminum high-flow intake manifold. For ECU recalibration, the system utilizes the Whipple Power Flash Programmer (SCT). The kit is CARB certified and 50-state legal when installed as supplied. It requires premium fuel (91 octane or better) and uses the stock airbox with a supplied high-flow filter element.
