This kit features Whipple's massive oversized air-to-water intercooler for superior cooling capacity and a front-feed W175ax supercharger with a 3x5 rotor combination for high volumetric efficiency and power potential. It includes an aluminum high-flow intake manifold and an intercooled bypass system for improved acceleration and fuel economy.

The Whipple W175FF is a 2.9L twin-screw supercharger system engineered to maximize power for 2008-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 models equipped with the 6.2L V8 engine, specifically excluding ZR1 models. This comprehensive 'Tuner' kit integrates Whipple's advanced technology, including the W175AX 2.9L front-entry twin-screw supercharger, which significantly outperforms competitor systems with its 3x5 rotor combination for enhanced RPM capacity and airflow. The system boasts a massive, oversized air-to-water intercooler for unmatched cooling and an efficient intercooled bypass system that contributes to better acceleration and maintains excellent fuel economy during cruising. Installation of this supercharger requires an aftermarket hood, as it does not clear the stock factory hood. The kit includes the supercharger unit, manifold assembly, heat exchanger, brackets, hoses, hardware, and an air filter. However, it is important to note that this is a 'tuner' kit and does not include fuel system upgrades, such as injectors, or a programmer. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation, and professional installation is recommended. The system requires 91 octane or higher fuel and comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty. Whipple Supercharger Kits are built to order, with a lead time of 10-14 business days, and require the customer's VIN at the time of order.
