The Whipple W200AX 3.3L direct drive twin-screw supercharger is designed for custom supercharger builds or as a replacement for compatible Whipple compressor assemblies. Developed by a company focused on twin-screw technology since 1987, this supercharger is proudly designed, manufactured, and assembled in Fresno, California. Positive displacement superchargers, like this twin-screw unit, are utilized by OEM manufacturers for their instant boost response, excellent drivability, and ability to support a wide power band. The W200AX 3.3L is engineered to deliver strong low-end torque, high peak horsepower potential, and efficient airflow across both low- and high-boost configurations. It operates virtually noise-free and boasts increased efficiency and durability. Key features include a replaceable and upgradeable component design, an oil sight glass for easy level inspection, and extended 100,000-mile oil change intervals. This supercharger head unit is available in either a Black or Polished finish, with specific part numbers for each: WSC-200AXB-DD for Black and WSC-200AXP-DD for Polished. The unit offers a max continuous RPM of 16,000, a max peak RPM of 18,000, and can deliver up to 30 PSI of boost with a peak volumetric efficiency of 99% and a peak adiabatic efficiency of 78%.
