W210 Air Ride Kit

The Commonwealth Chassis Works Mercedes Benz W210 Air Ride Kit offers a solution for enthusiasts looking to achieve a lowered stance on their W210 wagons and sedans. This kit adapts air bags to the factory suspension setup, allowing for a significant drop while maintaining the vehicle's stock rear struts. The design aims to keep the top and bottom of the air bag parallel when fully dropped, utilizing front lower bag plates secured to the stock control arm. Key features include hand-fabricated rear lower control arms with integrated bag mounts. These arms are equipped with heavy-duty TMR Customs 3/4" adjustable chromoly heim joints, providing up to 5 degrees of camber adjustment. The redesigned components position the air bags 3/4" further from the axle shaft, creating approximately 1" of clearance and allowing for an additional 1.5" of drop at the spindle. For maximum lowering potential, upgrading to Bilstein B6 or B8 shocks, or other custom struts with greater drop capabilities, is recommended. All parts within the kit are fabricated in-house using 3/16" and 1/4" cold rolled steel and are expertly welded by a certified professional. The kit is finished with a durable gloss black powder coat. The full kit comprises front and rear upper bag cups, front lower bag plates, the fabricated camber-adjustable rear control arms, and all necessary mounting hardware. Optional extras such as Slam Specialties SS-5 bags with 1/4" or 3/8" fittings, and various Air Lift 3P air management systems (with or without tanks and compressors) are available for purchase separately. Professional installation is strongly advised to ensure safe and correct setup. Minor drilling may be required for secure mounting of the front bag plate and routing air lines.
