The WS500 is an advanced alternator regulator that utilizes current, voltage, and temperature to provide precise and effective charging. It can be configured via onboard DIP switches or connected to a PC for more than 100 user controls. The regulator can monitor current flow to and from batteries using a current shunt, and also monitor alternator and battery temperatures to modify charging output for optimal safety and performance. When connected to a BMS system, it can receive critical data via CAN J1939. It features an auto-detect function for system voltage and supports default profiles for eight battery types. It can be used with different polarity alternators by selecting the appropriate N-Type or P-Type regulator wiring harness.
