The WIX FILTERS 24027 is a Water Alert Spin-On Filter designed for fuel dispensing pumps. It features a dual-layer internal structure with a special water-absorbing material that can hold up to 8 oz of water. This filter is suitable for use with gasoline, alcohol-blended fuels, and diesel.

This spin-on filter has a 16.00 micron rating and a flow rate of 15 GPM. The water-absorbing media swells when water is present, which slows the flow rate down to 1 GPM, alerting the operator to excessive water in the fuel.
