Water/Methanol Injection System

The AEM Performance 30-3300 Water/Methanol Injection System is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of forced induction (turbocharged or supercharged) gas-powered race engines. By injecting a mixture of water and methanol, the system effectively lowers intake air temperatures and combats harmful detonation. This kit features a boost-dependent controller with an integrated manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, designed for forced induction applications up to 35 PSI of boost. The controller boasts large, turn-resistant knobs and clear numbering for precise adjustment of start and full activation points. It also includes a covered status LED and test button for added splash resistance, along with a molded-in nipple for boost hose connection and integrated mounting tabs. Key components include a heavy-duty, waterproof high-pressure injection pump that is safe for engine bay or frame rail mounting and operates quietly and smoothly. The system utilizes a precision-machined billet-aluminum injector with an integral check valve and comes with three interchangeable Swirl Generator nozzles (250cc, 500cc, and 1000cc) for versatile flow rates. The kit includes a low-profile 1.15-gallon tank with an anti-starvation reservoir and an integrated, accurate conductive low-fluid sensor. A simplified wiring harness with a positive-lock connector and color-coded wires facilitates installation. The "Boost Safe" integrated output feature monitors the system for voltage-related errors and can trigger a ground signal for failsafe strategies, such as warning lights or engine management adjustments.
