The VETUS LSS50A is a plastic muffler, specifically a long exhaust waterlock for boats sailing in rough waters. It is designed to capture water in the exhaust once the engine has stopped and is compatible with 2-inch (51mm) diameter marine exhaust hose. Both the inlet and outlet connection ports rotate 360 degrees, and it features a drain plug for easy winterization. It has a reduced height of 8 7/8 inches for easy installation, a 1.5-gallon capacity (4.73 L), an overall length of 16 15/16 inches (430 mm), and a width of 6 inches (152 mm). It is suitable for gasoline or diesel inboard engines, sailboat engines, and marine generator applications, and can be used above or below the waterline. A securing strap is supplied as standard. It offers a noise reduction of 25% and comes with a 1-year warranty.
