Wavetrac ATB LSD Front Differential

The Wavetrac ATB LSD is an advanced automatic torque biasing limited-slip differential engineered specifically for the Audi 0A6 TTRS Quattro with the 6-speed manual transmission, front application. This differential distinguishes itself from conventional gear diffs by maintaining drive even when one axle becomes unloaded, a common occurrence during spirited driving, track use, or on slick surfaces. The patented cam device within the Wavetrac actively generates an internal load to replace lost external load, ensuring power is consistently biased to the wheel with traction. This results in more predictable and faster cornering performance, as the car receives consistent power delivery through turns. Beyond its core functionality, the Wavetrac features a patented Carbon Fibre Bias Plate for its pinions, ensuring consistent performance throughout the differential's life, unlike other gear-type LSDs that experience friction changes as they wear.
