Description

The Wavetrac Differential is a modern helical gear differential engineered for superior performance in Audi 01E transmissions. Designed with current gear technology, its optimized gear tooth forms enhance strength and improve oil film retention, while the smaller, more durable gear package reduces overall mass. Critical attention has been given to the side gear/axle interface, maximizing material thickness for high power levels. The Wavetrac's patented cam device generates internal load when axle load is zero, ensuring continuous drive to the gripping wheel. The Wavetrac Differential is designed for Quattro models including the Audi B5 S4 & C5 A6 2.7T, and Audi 4.2L C5 A6 & A8 6-speed transmissions. It comes with a transferable, Limited Lifetime Warranty. Ring gear bolts are not included but can be reused.
