Overview

The Wavetrac Differential is a state-of-the-art helical gear differential designed, developed, and manufactured in the USA by Autotech Driveline.

It is the only torque-biasing differential on the market with patented technology that mitigates wheelspin when an unloaded wheel condition arises. During zero axle load conditions, the Wavetrac cam device acts to create internal load, maintaining drive on the gripping wheel instead of acting like an open diff. Super strong 9310 alloy steel gears are enclosed in case-hardened steel bodies, held together with ARP fasteners.

The Wavetrac Differential is a state-of-the-art helical gear differential designed, developed, and manufactured in the USA by Autotech Driveline for enhanced traction and performance. This differential features patented technology that mitigates wheelspin during unloaded wheel conditions. When an axle experiences zero load, the Wavetrac cam device creates internal load, ensuring that drive is maintained on the gripping wheel rather than behaving like an open differential. This ensures consistent power delivery even in challenging traction scenarios. Constructed with super strong 9310 alloy steel gears, the differential is housed within robust case-hardened steel bodies and secured with ARP fasteners. This construction ensures durability and longevity under demanding use. Intended applications include the Acura RSX/RSX-S (DC5) with a 5 or 6-speed manual transmission (K20), the Acura TSX with a 6-speed transmission, and the Honda Civic Si (EP3) from 2003 onwards. It also fits the Honda CR-Z 6MT, and is compatible with both 2WD and AWD front applications.
