Description

The Whelen Howler™ siren is an auditory warning system designed to enhance primary siren output by adding powerful, deep, penetrating low-frequency tones. It integrates seamlessly with 100/200-watt primary siren amplifiers, synchronizing with the vehicle's primary siren to create an unmistakable presence in high-stress situations. The system features customizable ¼ tone, ½ tone, or composite tone durations and frequency styles via Scan-Lock™ programming and LED indicators. It includes two external cancel controls for 12-volt or ground deactivation and supports single or dual speaker systems. The CHOWLER configuration specifically includes the Howler & WeCanX® Amplifier. This system ensures emergency signals are felt as well as heard, even in noisy environments or when drivers have their windows up.
