Weapon R 94-04 Mazda Miata 1.8L Dragon Intake

The Weapon-R Dragon Intake System is a highly-rated performance intake used in various forms of racing. It was rated "Best Overall Performer" in the 2003 Tuner Performance Reports' Intake system Battle, outperforming both Cold Air & Short Ram Intake systems. These intake systems are CNC mandrel bent from 6061 aluminum and then hand TIG welded for a positive seal and proper fitment. Each system is carefully tuned by matching the engine's displacement, air intake capacity, and airspeed to the intake system's tube size and length, maximizing engine performance. This intake includes the World Famous Dragon Filter, designed for maximum airflow and protection with high-quality dense Poly Urethane Foam. Studies have shown foam filters provide up to 80% more airflow and better dirt filtration than conventional cotton filters. The Dragon Filter features a Computer CAD Designed and Flow-bench Tested Velocity Stack, significantly increasing airflow and air volume into the engine, thereby boosting engine performance. The Dragon Filter can be disassembled for cleaning and re-assembled afterward, or to change the foam filtering element's color.
