This kit replaces the restrictive OEM Y-bridge and cold side intercooler pipe, providing a complete 3" intake tract for improved throttle response and turbo spool up. The kit is specifically engineered for compatibility with the factory IHI turbo and aftermarket drop-in IHI style chargers. By eliminating the angled OEM intercooler boots, which are prone to failure, it ensures a more reliable and efficient performance. This kit also includes a FPRV block-off kit to provide the necessary clearance for larger diameter Y-bridges. However, it's important to note that this kit is not recommended for use with S300 or S400-style turbochargers.
