This WCFab big single turbocharger install kit is designed for 2001-2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 / 3500 HD trucks equipped with a 6.6L LB7 Duramax diesel engine. It facilitates the conversion from a stock IHI style turbo to a larger frame Borg Warner S400 style setup. The kit includes a 5" fabricated aluminum intake with a heavy-duty sheet metal air box and a high-performance dry filter. Intercooler hot and cold side charge pipe plumbing are upgraded to high-flow 3" diameter mandrel bent 14 gauge aluminum tubes. Also included is a high-flow 3" fabricated billet y-bridge kit to replace the restrictive stock upper intake manifold, enhancing airflow for maximum horsepower and efficiency gains. High-quality stainless steel braided Parker oil lines are supplied, with the oil feed line routing from the main oil galley on the side of the engine block. A T4 fabricated steel pedestal with spacer, compatible with WCFab's 2" high-flow stainless steel up pipes, is included for mounting various popular turbo size options (sold separately). The high-temp ceramic coated turbo downpipe connects to the existing exhaust front pipe V-Band clamp, simplifying installation without requiring cutting or modification to the exhaust system. A driver-side transmission dipstick tube is included to ease downpipe installation.
