This comprehensive single turbocharger install kit from WCFab is designed for 2001-2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 / 3500 HD trucks equipped with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax diesel engine. It facilitates the swap from the stock IHI-style turbo to a larger Borg Warner S400-style setup. The kit includes a 5-inch fabricated aluminum intake with a heavy-duty sheet metal air box and a high-performance dry filter with a pre-filter cover. The intercooler hot and cold side charge pipe plumbing are upgraded to high-flow 3-inch diameter mandrel-bent 14 gauge aluminum tubes. Also included is an upgraded 3-inch fabricated billet y-bridge kit, which replaces the restrictive stock upper intake manifold for maximum horsepower and efficiency gains. High-quality stainless steel braided Parker oil feed and drain lines with fittings are provided, with the oil feed line routing from the main oil galley on the side of the engine block. A T4 fabricated steel pedestal with spacer and hardware is included for mounting a variety of popular S400 turbo size options (turbos sold separately), compatible with WCFab's 2-inch high-flow stainless steel up pipes. The included high-temperature ceramic-coated 3-inch turbo downpipe connects to the existing exhaust front pipe via a V-Band clamp, simplifying installation without requiring cutting or modification to the exhaust system. A driver-side transmission dipstick relocation tube is also included to ease downpipe installation.
