The Top Outlet Billet Thermostat Housing and Upper Coolant Pipe Kit for 2006-2010 LBZ/LMM 6.6L Duramax replaces the OEM upper radiator hose and coolant return pipe. It reroutes the coolant flow from the top of the thermostat housing directly to the radiator, improving access to driver-side fuel system components, adding room for larger aftermarket turbochargers, and enhancing engine bay appearance. It is compatible with factory VGT style turbochargers and required for race cover style or SXE turbochargers mounted in the valley. The kit includes a CNC machined billet aluminum thermostat upper housing, coolant pipe, silicone boots, and t-bolt clamps.
