The Wehrli Custom Fabrication transfer case brace is a tubular steel support designed for 2001-2007 Duramax LB7, LLY, and LBZ Allison 4x4 applications. It connects the rear housing of the Allison transmission to the transfer case, reinforcing the tail housing to eliminate flex caused by driveline vibrations. This brace helps prevent cracked housings, fluid leaks, and damage to the transmission and transfer case, especially in high-horsepower or extreme use scenarios like off-roading, pulling, and drag racing. Installation is straightforward using basic hand tools, and no transmission or transfer case removal is necessary. The brace is finished with a durable powder coating and utilizes existing OEM fasteners.
