When the piston drops into the oil, the pressure reading is sent out to the scale The Weigh Safe Adjustable Ball Mount comes in a variety of shank sizes including 2", 2.5", and 3" so it will work on any truck, SUV, or van. The shank and mounting platform are constructed from 6061 T6 billet aluminum which provides superior strength and durability. It is also rustproof for a clean finish that will stand the test of time and the elements. The ball mount is available in either a 4", 6", 8", or 10" drop so it is perfect for even the lifted trucks with bigger tires. You can choose from either a polished aluminum finish or a black cerakote finish. Each ball mount will come with a 2" and 2-5/16" stainless steel ball as well as a dual pin key lock assembly and dust lock cover. You can also purchase a locking hitch pin for an upcharge. The locking hitch pin is what locks the hitch into the vehicle to prevent theft. The drop hitch can be adjusted with 1" increments and all hitches may be used in the rise position.
